Buspirone belongs to the class of medications of azapirone. In which there include other antipsychotic medications and anxiolytic (anti-anxiety). Buspar has effects on neurotransmitters in the brain such as dopamine and serotonin. It is a serotonin receptor agonist, which increases action at serotonin receptors in your brain. In which it also helps to alleviate anxiety. This is commonly used as an add-on to other medications such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) to treat anxiety. Buspar may also be recommended if other medications have been ineffective or involved too many side effects. It is most often prescribed for generalized anxiety disorder.

Buspar (Buspirone Hydrochloride) is an anti-anxiety agent. This belongs to the class of medications known as anxiolytics. This medication affects some chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with anxiety. Each tablet contains 5mg, 10mg, 15mg, or 30mg of Buspirone Hydrochloride for oral administration. This has been already approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
How to use Buspar (Buspirone Hydrochloride) Tablets?
The recommended starting dose for this is 5mg to be taken twice daily. The dose may be increased by 5mg every 2-3 days with a maximum not exceeding 60mg. you may take this with or without food. Take this at the same time each day or as directed by your doctor.
